Refund Policy – Sports Emporium

At Sports Emporium, we pride ourselves on providing top-quality cricket goods. Ensuring your satisfaction is essential. However, there may be occasions when you wish to return an item. The following policy outlines conditions and processes for returns and refunds.

 

Items Eligible for Return:

  1. Duration: Products must be returned within 15 days of the original purchase date.
  2. Condition: Items should be unused, unworn, unaltered, undamaged, and in original packaging with all tags.
  3. Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation is required for returns and exchanges.

Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  1. Worn cricket helmets.
  2. Jock straps.
  3. Any items specified as non-returnable in-store or on our website.

Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Treat them like cash; lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Process for Returns:

  2. If approved, pack the items securely to avoid damage during transit.
  3. Include proof of purchase and a note detailing the return reason.

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee the receipt of your returned item.

 

Damaged Items during Return Shipping: If an item is damaged during the return shipping process, Sports Emporium will not be responsible for such damages. It’s crucial to ensure items are securely packed and, if possible, insured during transit to avoid potential losses.

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items: If you believe an item is faulty or not as described, contact our Customer Service. After inspection, if deemed faulty or incorrect, we will refund the purchase price and shipping costs or provide a replacement.

 

Exchanges: For exchanges, return the original item and place a new order for the desired product. Exchanges depend on stock availability.

 

Refund Methods: Refunds go to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, the refund may take time to appear.

 

Your Rights Under New Zealand Consumer Law: Nothing in this policy seeks to limit rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). If an item is faulty, wrongly described, or different from the sample, we will meet our legal obligations, which may include refunding the purchase price and shipping charges or providing a replacement.
